County Line Landscape Nursery Goes Even Greener with Solar System
Moore Energy LLC announced today that it has installed a 28.8 kilowatt solar system at County Line Landscape Nursery in Fraconia Township. The solar panels will provide over 95% of the electricity used the the third generation family garden center.
"Being in the gardening business we take stewardship of the world seriously," said Denni Jones, Vice President of County Line Nursery. "We are intentional in our decisions to beautify the world we live in, and take care of our environment. We not only talk the talk, we walk the walk, and this solar installation is just one more step we are taking to reduce negative impact on this planet."

Moore Energy designed and installed the ground based solar panels using land in the upper portion of County Line's nursery. Jones added, "By consolidating nursery stock and re-purposing that area for the solar panels we will be a visible reminder to our customers of the many options to be earth friendly. We want you to know that we are really trying to be good neighbors."
Harris Bieberfeld, President of County Line Nursery smiled as he spoke of the latest update to the business started in 1952 by his parents, Herb and Lorraine Bieberfeld. "We've come a long way since the early 50's. We've seen lots of changes in the way people care for their properties. Folks used to use chemicals indiscriminately on their lawns and gardens. Now they are much more concerned about their approach to safe gardening. County Line has moved heavily into organic products as a result of the great awareness of the damage chemicals cause to the bees and water supply. Going solar is another way to be a friendly force in our community and to our world."
